Drug operation ends in 15 arrests

A drug operation conducted by Detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Section Thursday resulted in 15 arrests.

About three months ago, Detectives initiated an investigation based on reports of excessive drug sales in the Racepath Community of Horry County.

Detectives along with Officers from the Horry County Police Department's North, Central and South Precincts, the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, Horry County Sheriff's Office and South Carolina Probation and Parole entered Racepath as part of a sting operation.

During the operation, around ten grams of cocaine, $1500, and three semi-automatic pistols were seized. In addition, fifteen people were arrested and charged in connection with the operation.

Below is the list of people and charges:

Jonathan David Marlette, 19, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Anthony Daron Simon,30, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Michael Jeffery Crossley, 45, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Michelle Danielle Searles, 44, of Myrtle Beach. She is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Lance Maurice Burgess, 32, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Lamar David Davis, 44, is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Richard Francis Sanger, 35, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Raymond Jerome Vaught, 54, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Lisa Marie Fellows, 43, of Myrtle Beach. She is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Steve Clinton Evans, 53, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Jeffrey P. Harper, 41 of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Roman Lee Melton, 33, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

James Aforthy Johnson, 42, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charge: Attempt to Possess Drugs

Daquan Tyreece Page, 20, of Myrtle Beach.

Charges: Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Distribution of Crack Cocaine (10 counts)

Joseph Sanders, 36, of Myrtle Beach. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Charges: Possession of Crack Cocaine, Resisting Arrest, Distribution of Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
