A judge sentenced a homeless man to 22 years in jail with no parole for killing another homeless man in 2009.

Bruce Underwood entered an Alford plea Monday, meaning he does not admit guilt but says there's enough evidence for a conviction.

George Pennell and Timothy Regimball were found badly beaten at a campsite they shared off Highway 15 and Boundary Street in Myrtle beach in February 2009.

Pennell died at the scene. Regimball was hospitalized with a fractured skull and broken ribs.

Another suspect in the case, Timothy Haley, was sentenced to 12 years.
