Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a home on Crusade Circle, just outside of Conway, about 1:40 p.m. Monday as storms were moving through the area.

Firefighters found flames and smoke coming through the roof.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.

Investigators say lightening caused the fire.

The American Red Cross was called to help the family.
