According to Lt. Jay Hechanova, Jeffery Montague was booked at J. Reuben Long Detention Center for a DUI at 4:25 a.m. Sunday and released a short time later.
He was arrested by Highway Patrol.
Detention Center Director Tom Fox says Montague refused to take a breathalyzer test. He's not sure if he did a field sobriety test.
Montague, 42, works in the booking department of J. Reuben Long.
Fox adds Montague will report to work on Monday and will be restricted to administrative duties.
