Hot and humid conditions again today. Temps will max out in the upper 80s to mid 90s. Factor the humidity in there and the heat index will push to around 100° across the area straight though the weekend. A few afternoon and evening storms will be possible every day through the weekend, but more so the hit or miss variety. A cold front will approach next week bringing a better chance for scattered storms.Tropical Storm Ernesto is headed into the Caribbean today but still appearing unorganized. It is forecast to strengthen over the next few days, possibly into a Hurricane by early next week.
