Mercom Corporation announced Wednesday it will expand its existing operations in Georgetown County, generating 30 jobs.
"Our company continues to see growth, and we are pleased to move forward with this expansion. South Carolina has been an excellent fit for our business over the years. Georgetown County provides us with an excellent business environment and a strong workforce, and we look forward to continue doing business here. We appreciate all the support we've received from state and local officials," said Mercom Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Larry Mercado in a press release.

We celebrate Mercom's decision to expand its Pawley's Island operation with an investment of $1 million and the creation of 30 new jobs. South Carolina continues to show it's the right place for a business to grow and prosper," said Governor Nikki Haley.
