Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.
Horry County School Board member Paul Hudson died last night of an apparent heart attack.
School board chairman Will Garland said Hudson was a dedicated man who will be greatly missed by his family, the district and certainly his fellow members the school board.
"Paul was very quiet, soft spoken, dedicated , conscientious board member that cared very deeply about all students, all children," said Garland.
