A disturbance off of the South Carolina coast will head Northeast today as another approaches by late today and tonight. The chance for a few storms will be around the area this afternoon, but the best chance for rain and even a few strong storms will be late today and tonight as the next disturbance works up the coast.

Heavy rain will be possible so localized flooding concerns and ponding on the roads will warrant watching. Strong or even isolated severe storms with damaging wind gust, hail, intense lightning, and heavy rain will be possible. You can track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

A disturbance out in the Atlantic is showing a little potetial for further tropical development over the next few days. It has a 20% chance for development over the next 2 days and at this forecast models take this toward the Caribbean. You can always keep up with the latest on the tropics on the Hurricane Central page.
