Myrtle Beach's animal control unit wrote four citations to the Generation X store under the wild and feral animal ordinance.

They were called to the 910 North Ocean Boulevard about 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Lt. Doug Furlong says the store was not allowed to be in possession of animals under that ordinance, which normally deals with snakes, scorpions, turtles and things of that nature.

We are waiting to learn the animals that were seized.

Store employees were not willing to talk on camera.
