FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) - Deputies say a man walked out of a wooded area Sunday evening, shot a man who was sitting in his car several times and walked back into the woods. 

The car was at a softball field on Milk Street near Timmonsville. Capt. Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office says the man was sitting in the driver's seat of the car.

The victim was taken to a hospital. His condition has not been released.
