Today will be another scorcher as an upper level ridge of high pressure continues to settle in across the Southeast. A heat advisory will be in effect until 7pm with the heat index(or feels like temperature) ranging from 105° to 110° for several hours this afternoon. High temps will hit the mid 90s by the Beaches and around 100° Inland. Take necessary precautions to stay cool and hydrated, keep an eye on your neighbors, and make sure you pets have a way to stay cool and hydrated as well! A few storms, some strong, are possible, but most locations will remain dry. You can track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app  A cold front will slowly push toward the Carolinas tomorrow. This will bring a slight increase in the afternoon and evening storm chance over the weekend. While it will remain hot and humid, maximum temperatures will slowly decrease to the low/mid 90s by Sunday. The front is forecast to stall close to the Eastern Carolinas next week keeping the chance for storms around and more clouds, but this will also bring back more seasonable high temperatures. Look for temps to max in the upper 80s and low 90s next week.

Today: Mostly sunny/hazy, hot and humid with a few storms possible, mainly Inland. Highs- Grand Strand:Mid 90s, Inland: Around 100°. Heat index 105° - 110°.

Tonight: Mostly clear and humid. Lows:Inland: Mid 70s, Grand Strand:Upper 70s,

Saturday: Mostly to partly sunny, hot and humid with few more PM storms possible. Isolated strong storms. Highs- Grand Strand:Low/Mid90s, Inland: Mid/Upper 90s. Heat index around 105°

Sunday: Mostly to partly sunny with few showers/storms possible. Highs- Grand Strand:Low 90s, Inland: Mid 90s. Heat index around 105°
