Karen Murphy, 43, died during a diving expedition off the coast of Horry County Tuesday morning, according to Tamara Willard with the Horry County Coroner's Office.
Willard says the expedition was about six miles off the coast at the Sherman Dive Wreck.
We are waiting to learn the autopsy results. They could take 12 to 14 weeks, according to Willard.
The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating.
