Georgetown County deputies and officers with the Georgetown Police Department with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted a county wide warrant round-up. Each suspect had felony warrants for drug distribution within Georgetown County.
The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the US Marshals also helped.
Thursday, they arrested nine people. More suspects have outstanding felony warrants
Below are the suspects listed with their charges:
Sophia Loren Simmons, 40, of Georgetown: Charges: Distribution of Cocaine
Nicolas Morano, 37, of Georgetown: Charges: Distribution of Schedule III
Henry Jermaine Elliott, 38, of Georgetown: Charges: Distribution of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
Tory Teron Thomas, 24, of Georgetown: Charges: Distribution of Crack Cocaine
Raymond Keith, 27, of Georgetown: Charges: Possession with Intent to Distribute, Crack Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana (Federal Indictment)
Earl L. Myers Jr., 26, of Murrells Inlet: Charges: Distribution of Crack Cocaine
Brandon Michael Hanna, 24, of Kingstree: Charges: Distribution of Crack Cocaine
Willie James Anderson, 61, of Andrews: Charges: Distribution of Cocaine
Maurice Javon Grant, 27 Charges: Distribution of Marijuana on two counts
The suspects were sent to Georgetown County Detention Center.
The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit is funded by a grant through the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
