An ambulance had to drive onto the field at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball stadium Thursday night, but it wasn't for a player.

The game between Myrtle Beach and Winston Salem was stopped for nearly 30 minutes after a woman was hit by a line drive. She was taken to the hospital.

Pelicans General Manager Scott Brown told NewsChannel 15 that the woman was conscious when she left the ballpark.
