Federal authorities are holding a press conference in Columbia on Wednesday to unveil the results of a multi-year investigation into a South Carolina gang.
U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles and FBI Special Agent David Thomas say the investigation targeted the Bloods street gang.
Authorities are unsealing the 134-count racketeering indictment and are announcing the names of about 20 people being charged.
This is the second big federal racketeering investigation in South Carolina this summer.
In June, 19 people affiliated with the Hells Angels motorcycle gang were arrested in North and South Carolina. Nettles said those suspects face charges including racketeering, including racketeering, conspiracy, money laundering and drug violations.
The two-year investigation recovered a wide variety of drugs and firearms, including automatic machine guns.
