Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says a man vacationing on the Grand Strand died after swimming in the ocean.
Edge says Henry Lane, 68, died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center at 4:14 p.m. Thursday.
Edge says Lane was vacationing from Great Falls, South Carolina.
It happened in Myrtle Beach Travel Park on Kings Road. That's between the cities of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.
Firefighters say another man was taken to the hospital after trying to rescue Lane.
