Conway police charged Eron Jordan, 30, with Attempted Murder. They say on Saturday they were called to Leonard Avenue for a medical call and found a man intoxicated, refusing to go to sleep.
Officers arrested that man. As they were driving away, someone fired shots toward the patrol car.
Police searched the apartment where the intoxicated man's family lived and say they found Jordan pretending to be asleep with the pistol tucked under a mattress.
