SLED investigating inmate death at FCDC

The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating the death of an inmate at the Florence County Detention Center.

Captain Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office says the inmate was pronounced dead just after 7 p.m., Thursday.

Nunn says at this time he's not able to provide any additional information, but will release more details at the appropriate time.
