High pressure remains in control over the East and will gradually push off of the coast. This will increase the heat and humidity across the area, but keeping us mainly dry. Highs will hit the mid/upper 80s today with a little more humidity. Summer officially begins at 7:09pm Wednesday and with it comes the Summer heat and humidity. Highs will hit the 90s away from the coast through the weekend. Along the beaches expected mid/upper 80s. Factor in the humidity and the heat index will reach near 100° later this week and weekend.
