Former Lt. Governor Andre Bauer and Horry County Council Chairman Tom Rice will face off in a runoff election on June 26th for the new Seventh Congressional District seat's Republican nomination.

Both Bauer and Rice spent more than $500,000 in their campaigns.

"Clearly, I only convinced about a third of the people coming out to the polls today to vote for me. So I've got a lot of work to do because I want the other 2/3 to vote for me as well," said Bauer.

They faced seven other challengers in the primary election.
