A Myrtle Beach woman will be sentenced for a charge of Felony DUI Involving Death on Tuesday afternoon.

In December 2009, Lynne Slay was driving in the wrong direction down Highway 17 in Horry County when she slammed head-on into an oncoming car and killed the driver, according to police.

Barianne Deas, 57 of Georgetown, died in the wreck. Deas was traveling northbound on Highway 17 near Highway 544.

Slay pled guilty to the charge on March 8, according to Assistant 15th Circuit Solicitor George DeBusk. Slay faces anywhere from one to 25 years in prison.

She will be sentenced at 2 p.m. at the Horry County Government and Justice Center in Conway.
