The Democratic primary for the Florence mayor's race is expected to be a big draw, but some worry if they vote in the Florence mayor's race, they will miss out on another opportunity.

Campaign signs for two candidates for Mayor are everywhere in Florence.

Incumbent Mayor Stephen Wukela wants to win the Democratic primary.

He's being challenged by longtime city councilman Ed Robinson .

Another well-known Florence candidate on another ticket could impact the mayor's race.

Jay Jordan is running in the Republican primary for the Seventh Congressional seat.

That means Florence residents who want to vote in the Democratic primary for mayor can not vote in the Republican primary for the Seventh Congressional District.

Once the votes are counted Tuesday night, we'll have a better idea what, if any impact the decision facing voters will have on the two races.
