Hundreds came out to celebrate at the well-known Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet Wednesday night.
"Feels absolutely marvelous, it's an amazing record, I think we set an all time records from rubble to looking around…300-400 people," owner Charlie Cambell said.
The restaurant and bar reopened after a fire destroyed it back in February.
Crews rebuilt the burned out restaurant in just 83 days, two months ahead of schedule. One man at the reopening said the celebration was a journey of emotion.
"From shock to elation would be a very good way to describe that," Matt Dantoni said.
The fire that destroyed the restaurant in the middle of the night was accidental.
