Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck where a car ended up in a community pond.

Troopers responded to a call about a car in the pond just before 7:30 Monday evening in the South Bay Lakes Subdivision in Surfside Beach.

According to Highway Patrol's website, there were no injuries in the incident.

Troopers on the scene say the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and went into the pond.

There is no word if any charges will be filed.
