Johnson and Stevens win Surfside council seats

Randle Stevens and Mark Johnson won seats on city council in today's runoff election in Surfside Beach.

Stevens received 395 votes, Johnson, 388, and Bob Childs received 312.

Mayor-elect Doug Samples and Councilwoman-elect Mary Beth Mabry will be seated May 8th.

Johnson is the only incumbent to keep a seat on council.
