Man sentenced to 125 months in prison for robberies

MYRTLE BEACH -- A judge sentenced a bank robber who was caught in Myrtle Beach to 125 months in prison.

Jonathan Thompson was convicted last July of robbing three Wilmington banks.

Thompson is also accused of bank robberies in Florence, Greenville, and Spartanburg.

Thompson was arrested at a hotel in Myrtle Beach. His jail time will be followed by three years of supervised release and he must pay restitution of more than $8,000.
