The State Law Enforcement Division and Edgefield County deputies seized 84 machines and arrested 40 people in a video gambling machine sweep on March 30.
SLED is planning similar operations in Horry and Georgetown Counties.
In Edgefield County, deputies executed four search warrants at suspected illegal gaming locations. It was part of a two-year undercover operation involving the sheriff's office, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and SLED.
