Horry County police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday morning.
Police responded to an address on Bay Forge Rd. around 8:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
They found a 46-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds, who was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The man's name has not been released.
A woman was taken into custody at the scene, but no charges have been filed.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are investigating.
