Firefighters from Horry County and Myrtle Beach fought a fire at a car dealership Tuesday evening.

Firefighters were called to Lavin's Cars on Jason Boulevard in Horry County about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.

That's right off Highway 17 By-Pass, not far from Highway 501.

Horry County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Randy Gardner, says four cars were destroyed in the service garage of the dealership. That portion also suffered severe smoke damage to the interior.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
