The Florence Sheriff's Office arrested Bruce Mariah Beauford, 44, of Effingham and charged him with burglarizing a business on S. Irby Street almost two years ago.

According to deputies, on May 24, 2010, Beauford broke into a business at 1724 S. Irby St. in Florence and stole several items. The sheriff's office says blood samples taken from the scene were submitted to the State Law Enforcement Division for analysis, and were matched to Beauford.

Beauford is charged with one count of Burglary, Second Degree.

Beauford is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $15,000 surety bond.
