Homeless man set on fire near Myrtle Beach

Horry County Police Sgt. Robert Kegler says a man was taken to the Augusta Burn Center after being set on fire.

He says the man was asleep at a homeless camp on Robert Grissom Parkway about 12:05 a.m. Friday when we woke up on fire.

Sgt. Kegler says the man had severe burns to his lower body.

Police are investigating.
