The Darlington County Sheriff's Office is searching for the man who robbed the Family Dollar store on Highway 52 in Darlington Wednesday morning.

Deputies say store employees called 911 claiming they were robbed just after 8 a.m. They say a man dressed in a camouflage jacket and dark pants robbed the clerks then ran out of the store.

The department's bloodhound tracking team is searching in and around the area for the robber. Deputies are dusting for fingerprints and any other evidence that could help them develop leads on a suspect.

If you have any information on this robbery, please call the Darlington County Sheriff's Office at 843-398-4501.
