FLORENCE -- Texas governor and presidential hopeful Rick Perry grabbed a bite to eat at the Drive-In restaurant in Florence Tuesday.
A sea of journalists and photographers followed Perry's every move. About 50 people were waiting to see the candidate.
Perry went table to table talking with voters and learning of their concerns in South Carolina.
He allowed several of his supporters to take pictures with him. He chatted with a Florence woman from San Antonio, Texas.
Perry ordered a beef gyro and sat down at the table with Florence County GOP Chairman Bill Pickle, and Florence County GOP Vice Chairperson Stephanie Rawlinson and her family.
This isn't Perry's first visit to Florence. In August, he campaigned at Carolinas Hospital System and Bazen's Restaurant.
