Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a fire at Abaco Bay Apartments on Halyard Way about 7:20 a.m. Monday.

Smoke was coming from a second floor apartment when firefighters got there.

Horry County Fire Rescue says the fire was accidental. It started in the central heating unit.

One person was displaced by the fire.
