LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WPDE) - One person died and two others are injured after a car wreck in Horry County late Saturday night.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on highway 90 about a mile west of North Myrtle Beach Middle School.
Senior trooper Brent Kelly with Highway Patrol described the wreck as "car versus ditch versus light pole."
Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendricks says the victim is Gail Lynch, 34, of Little River. She was thrown from the car and died on the scene.
Kelly says the driver and another passenger were injured.
The Highway Patrol's MAIT team is investigating.
