There's yet another candidate for the new 7th Congressional District.
Tuesday, Gloria Bromell Tinubu traveled across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee to announce her bid for the seat.
The Democrat is a professor at Coastal Carolina University.
If elected, she says she'll work to create jobs in the 7th District in the midst of this technology revolution.
"With the high tech manufacturing even less people are needed that's just a fact of life. They need, they're using more skilled workers, they call it an elite workforce, they need more skilled workers, but they need less less of them than they've traditionally needed, so what do we do with people who need to work?," she said.
Tinubu is a native of Georgetown County.
