Marion County deputies say about 20 homes in the Temperance Hill community have been burglarized in the past month.

They say the burglaries are happening during the daytime when homeowners are at work.

Deputies say the robbers are mainly stealing televisions and jewelry.

Investigators dusted for fingerprints and collected evidence at each burglary. They think the crimes could be committed by one person.

Deputies have stepped up patrols in the Temperance Hill community.

They're asking residents to look out for their neighbors. They say that could be the key in solving the burglaries.

Deputies say if you see anything unusual or out of the ordinary at your neighbor's home, call the Marion County Sheriff's Office at (843) 423-8216.
