MYRTLE BEACH -- A mother who claims she was bullied by Target store employees rallied across the nation today to fight back.

A Houston mother says she was bullied and made to feel ashamed, for feeding her child while shopping.

She claims she was trying to be discreet, but claims store employees harassed her and stared at her. Therefore, she organized a massive nationwide protest.

Target says it encourages mothers to nurse in the changing room, but they certainly don't have to.

"Breastfeeding and breastfeeding in public is a human rights issue. Women have a legal right in South Carolina along with all other states in the U.S. to nurse their babies when and where they please," says local mom Brittney O'Brien.

Six moms participated in Myrtle Beach.
