(AP) -- First Gentleman Michael Haley is receiving two live Christmas trees. Haley is being presented with the trees Monday by members of the South Carolina Christmas Tree Growers Association.

He is also receiving poinsettias that were grown by the Future Farmers of America from Lexington Technology Center.

The trees and poinsettias are part of the decorations for the Governor's Mansion Christmas Open House.

Later on Monday, Haley and Gov. Nikki Haley are expected to be on hand with their children at the Statehouse for the 45th annual governor's Carolighting ceremony.
