Investigators have issued a warrant for Dontest Jabar Gerald for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Possession of a Pistol by Certain Persons.
They say he's responsible for a shooting at an area off Maple Avenue just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
Sgt. Selena Smalls says officers found a 34-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper part of his body.
He was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment. His condition has not been released.
