Shining a spotlight on missing people, that's the focus of a national tour that made a stop in Georgetown County Friday afternoon.

Family members of Garret Hughes and Crystal Soles came together to urge the public to help their bring their loved ones home.

Soles has been missing since January 24, 2005. She was last seen at Shaw's Corner Store in Andrews. She talked to her father on the phone and told him she would walk home. She hasn't been seen since.

Crystal's mother, Gale Soles, says she misses her daughters smile and hopes someone will come forward with information about her disappearance. Soles took part in the event "to let everybody know she's still missing and a lot of people come up to me and say 'I thought they found her.' We've not found Crystal yet but we're on the way, we will get there."

Garrett Hughes was last seen November 27, 2003. Hughes was living at Manor House, an assisted living facility in Georgetown, at the time of his disappearance. His brother, Joseph Hughes, says he thinks another person living at the facility gave him a ride somewhere on the day he went missing. Garrett couldn't walk far because of his paralysis.

"You just don't know even if it's nothing but some bones that the DNA says it's him at least you know that some psycho ain't holding him," adds Joseph Hughes.

If you have any information about either of these two cases contact the CUE Center for Missing Persons at 910-343-1131.
