MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Now that Hurricane Irene is gone from our coast, Skywheel employees wasted no time putting the gondolas back in service.

Manager Chris Trout says the gondolas are made to withstand 60 mile per hour wind gusts but they figured better to be safe and remove them.

It will take 10 hours to put all the gondolas back on. Crews will inspect the Skywheel tonight so the attraction will be ready for business Sunday at Noon.
