MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- A Myrtle Beach teen has been charged with Attempted Murder following a June 30th incident.

According to a Myrtle Beach police report, Courtney Nicole Hunt, 17, intentionally hit a pedestrian with her car in the Sea Mist Resort parking lot located at 11th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive around 12:30 a.m.

The victim told police Hunt was driving a white Pontiac Grand Am at the time and left the parking lot after the incident. The victim sustained multiple serious injuries, including skull fractures.

Following an investigation, police determined Hunt maliciously and willfully attempted to kill the victim and charged her with Attempted Murder.

Hunt was arrested Wednesday. She is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Hunt's bond is set at $250,000.
