Dillon police are looking for a man who impersonated a Dillon County Sheriff's deputy and made off with a motorcycle.

According to an incident report, Mack Herron, Jr.was trying to sell his motorcycle and met the deputy impersonator at the sheriff's department after being contacted by the man on Craigslist.com.

Officers say the man asked to test drive it, before he bought it. He left and never came back.

Police have entered the bike into a national crime data base as stolen.
