Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says Levi Gregg died as a result of multiple stab wounds Sunday.
Deputies say Levi Gregg was killed by his cousin, Douglas Gregg, at a home on Charles Drive.
They say Douglas Gregg also kidnapped a woman who was visiting Levi, by forcing her inside a stolen vehicle.
She was able to jump out and escape a short time later and was OK.
Captain Andy Locklair with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office says, after the murder and kidnapping, Douglas Gregg held up a convenience store in nearby Society Hill.
Deputies caught Douglas Gregg about two hours later near Old Camden Road.
Gregg is charged with murder, kidnapping grand larceny and armed robbery.
