Horry County police arrested Robert Norton Kennedy, 51, of Little River for assault and battery.
But it's not his arrest that seems to be attracting attention, it's what's written on his forehead.
The tattoo reads, "WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. GOD LOVES YOU. Please forgive me if I say or do anything stupid, Thank You!"
Kennedy was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center Saturday at 11 p.m. for spitting on someone, according to police.
But, Horry County Police spokesman Sgt. Robert Kegler says he's heard from people across the globe about the man's tattoo.
Sgt. Kegler says Kennedy has been in J. Reuben Long Detention Center before on charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
