The State Law Enforcement Division has cancelled an Amber Alert for an 8-year-old girl from South Carolina.
Elysha Christine Shelton was last seen at a home in Pickens County late Monday night. In the early morning hours on Tuesday, SLED issued the Amber Alert after they say Donnie Lee Shelton abducted Elysha.
Around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, SLED lifted the Amber Alert, confirmed that the girl had been found and that Donnie Lee Shelton, 46, was in police custody.
