Autopsy results released in death of Coward man

Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews tells NewsChannel 15 Jimmy Legrand Spring, II, 39, died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Relatives found Spring dead inside his home on Salem Road in Coward just after 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Florence County Sheriff's Captain Mike Nunn says deputies are not in a position to release any information but says they're not ruling anything out at this time.

Nunn says the investigation is on-going.
