Horry County police have now arrested 14 people in a deadly shooting in Socastee.
Sylvester Smart, 28, was found shot at a home in the Strand Mobile Home park on August 21st. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
That day, police arrested Alex Lorenzo Robinson for murder.
Police later learned that other people in the mobile home park stole drugs and weapons from Smart's home right after the shooting. Two more people were then arrested.
Detectives then learned some of the stolen items from the victim's house ended up in a home on Laurelwoods Drive in the Burgess community. They executed a search warrant on August 24th and found about 95 grams of cocaine, 135 Ecstasy pills and two firearms, neither of which were the murder weapon. Police arrested four more people.
Over the past several days, six more people were arrested by the Horry County Police Department, Myrtle Beach Police Department, the U.S. Marshal Service and the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Then Tuesday, August 28 police arrested Stanton Squires for murder.

- *Antoine Lamont Lance, 30, of Pawleys Island is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking MDMA or Ecstasy.
- *Michael Rogers, 23, of Pawleys Island, is out of jail on bond. He's charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Trafficking MDMA or Ecstasy.
- *Ashley Janay Pearl, 19, of Myrtle Beach, is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking MDMA or Ecstasy.
- *Shana Renea Green, 26, of Myrtle Beach, is out of jail on bond. She's charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Trafficking MDMA or Ecstasy.
- *George Everette Gray, 28, of Conway, is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center charged with Murder.
- *Savannah Michelle Griffin, 19, of Myrtle Beach, is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center charged with Accessory After the Fact of a Felony (Murder).
- *Russell Dale Griffin, 21, of Myrtle Beach, is in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center charged with Accessory After the Fact of a Felony (murder).
