According to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, the man accused of trying to kidnap a woman on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach last week has bonded out of jail.

NewsChannel 15 was the only station there when Shaun Taylor turned himself into Myrtle Beach Police Wednesday. We're told he made a $70,000 bail Friday and was released.

Police say Taylor is one of three men who tried to snatch a 20-year-old  Tennessee woman from Ocean Boulevard. The woman got away by elbowing one of her would-be abductors in the face and breaking free. Police say she picked Taylor out of a photo lineup.

Police are also investigating the similarities between this case, the case of missing spring breaker Brittanee Drexeland a cold case murder from  Charleston County.
